Gather, Reconnect & Align in Nature & Nurture

Our Story starts about 15 years ago with our founder, Kadedra Yass'e. At 18 years old, she hit the ground running by hosting protests and initiatives in animal rights advocacy. After about 2 years of defending animal rights, Kadedra found that for sustainable change to happen, people should be taught what TO eat, not just focus on what NOT to eat.

From there, Kadedra went on the travel the country hosting health-food education events, attending conferences, collaborating with community initiatives focused on health, and hosting interactive workshops to help other enjoy healthy food. After another exhausting 8 years on the road traveling, Kadedra was ready to settle down, start a farm, and teach about healthy living within her local area.

As she began to "grow her green thumb" - G.R.A.I.N.N. SCHOOL was created in March 2023. The supporting farm the produces most of the fresh produce prepared at events and workshops seeds from the school's host farm, Yass'e Farms (Co-owned and Co-operated by Kadedra and her husband, Rico.)

We do more than donate food or share recipes - we empower Self-Sustainability in our community through nt only growing our own food, but preparing fresh produce using healthy recipes. Our work is more than a life-saving service to the communities we reach. Our work is part of a greater effort to secure the Future of our Food and inspire our future farmers, gardeners, and other crucial jobs in food production and food security.
